Owen was born in 2009 with a short right femur and the right side of his hip not developed properly.

This condition is called Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency or PFFD for short.

This blog is for Owen's family and friends to follow his progress and help other families who have a
child with PFFD.

Goodbye physical therapist Alicia and Charter! You made a lasting impression on us and we appreciate you in aiding Owen to take his first steps after just 3 days of him getting his first prosthetic. We will miss you two but so happy to be a step closer to going home.
